The sixth annual Leeds Retail Therapy Awards are coming up soon and the first round of voting has started today.
The event is billed as a celebration of the city's indigenous retail culture, which attracts close to a million visitors to the city each year.
A spokesperson said:
"The event heavily supports independent retailers as the city wouldn't be the same without them. High street stores are also supported and eligible for awards, but this is a rare opportunity for small businesses to push for the recognition they deserve and provides a channel for much needed support from the people of Leeds."
For more information or to vote, go to www.leedsretailawards.com. The voting is open for nominations of any retailer in the Leeds area.
