Strong winds are battering the region today - and has led to Leeds council issuing a warning on its website.
The Met office has issued a weather warning, saying wind gusts of 60 mph are expected widely with gusts of 70 mph probable across parts of northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
The council warns that public transport may be affected.
