Online offers a new and rapidly changing culture where the tools are now available to everyone to talk, shout out and share – but bloggers through to journalists in Leeds are now being invited to join in a day of action.
WePublish is a new type of event that provides an arena for anyone who creates content, publishes or supports digital publishing.
Whether you are a self-taught blogger or diarist through to a trained, experienced journalist and all the many alternatives between, the event will
give people a chance to come together and share ideas, experiences and best practice in how to create and deliver new online editorial and communication experiences.
The event - on Saturday, 22 January - is open to all those who create and support the delivery of online publications and conversations to come together in a new unconference that will take and expand on the possibilities offered by great tools, such as WordPress, and look at how people can get more from them.
WePublish is just one of three events on the same weekend; local user group Northern Bloggers are joining in the fun with a social event at Nash's fish and chip restaurant on Friday 21 and, the day after the WePublish event, you're invited back to Old Broadcasting House for a blogging-focussed unconference 'PubCamp'.
