A community website has launched a petition to campaign for what organisers describe as 'fairer fares' on Leeds' buses.

The Lovin Leeds website has launched its Fare fares for all petition following recent price increases in Leeds by bus operator First.

The petition, which currently has 20 signatures, has been also signed by Leeds West MP Rachel Reeves and Leeds councillors Ben Chastney, James Monaghan and John Illingworth.

Stuart Long, who runs Lovin Leeds, said:

"You get a good feel for people's views from the comments on the site."

The site also allows you to download a poster to show your support for the petition.
