Bookmarked: Under the radar art activities in Leeds this week

Stretch your legs and imagination and experience some under-the-radar arts activities in Leeds this week.

This evening sees the monthly Leeds Art Walk take in three exhibitions in Leeds - including the Concourse Quartet by Amelia Crouch at Leeds Railway Station; Leeds Art Gallery Open Show; and a sneak preview of some of the work being shown as part of the last 'Art in Unusual Spaces' project in Leeds Shopping Plaza.

The walk is led by Pavilion and Project Space Leeds.

Tomorrow there's a preview event of Art in Unusual Places' End of Season exhibition. Throughout August a number of artists have been creating illustration, video and installation in five empty shop units in Leeds Shopping Plaza. This is the last exhibition using the empty shop units before they are redeveloped - more details here.

There's a preview of both these events over at The Culture Vulture.

Also on the same night is the launch for the photography projection and exhibition in 42 New Briggate – Best of Leeds Vol 1 organised by Exposure Leeds as part of Leeds Photo Week. The event is 6-8pm.
