A new residents forum is being launched by local people in the Beeston Hill area of Leeds.
Community blog South Leeds Life reports that the meeting in the inner city community will give local residents the opportunity to raise local issues and concerns with people including local councillors, police and council officers.
Freda Bates told South Leeds Life:
"The forum is for anyone who lives or works in the Beeston Hill area. There are big issues coming up for us including the Housing PFI scheme which is due to start work later this year. We will have a number of key people present so we hope they can answer any question that comes up."
Beeston Hill Residents Voice meets on Monday 23 June at Building Blocks on Tempest Road, at 6pm.
