Cardiff Transition Project have posted a write-up of their recent Show, Share and Tell event on their website.
Held at Zero Degrees on Westgate Street in July, the event invited those from other groups and projects around the city who are also helping to promote sustainability.
Groups included Friends of Insole Court, Canton Carbon Cutters, Taff's Well Community Garden, Co-housing Cymru, Food Fight and Feed the 5000, ARK, Friends of Clare Gardens, Orchard Cardiff and Cardiff Civic Society. According to the website, discussions looked at how the groups could come together to make the city a more sustainable place.
Details of all the groups who took part can also be found on the website here.
More events of this nature can be expected from Cardiff Transition Project (CTP). Writing on the website the CTP coordinator said:
"As well as more Show & Tell events, the CTP plan to organise Give & Take events (G&T) which will be more informal discussions around sustainable and transition themes or issues the people of Cardiff are keen to find out more about. Any suggestions or requests for discussion topics will be welcome."
The first Transition Give & Take event will take place on Wednesday August 25th in Zero Degrees from 6 – 8pm. CTP descibe the event as an opportunity interested peoples to find out more about the goings-on of sustainability projects in Cardiff, and a time for follow up conversations from those who went to the Show & Tell.
