Valued at a market cap of $185 billion, Booking Holdings Inc. (BKNG) is a leading online travel company, offering online and traditional travel and restaurant reservations and related services. The Norwalk, Connecticut-based company also provides travel-related insurance products and restaurant management services to consumers, travel service providers, and restaurants. It is expected to announce its fiscal Q2 earnings for 2025 after the market closes on Tuesday, Jul. 29.
Ahead of this event, analysts expect this travel company to report a profit of $50.46 per share, up 20.4% from $41.90 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company has topped Wall Street’s earnings estimates in each of the last four quarters. In Q1, BKNG’s EPS of $24.81 outpaced the forecasted figure by a notable margin of 43.8%.

Due to a solid rise in the company’s gross bookings and room nights, its overall revenue improved 7.9% year-over-year to $4.8 billion, beating consensus expectations by 3.5%. Moreover, its adjusted EPS of $24.81 advanced 21.7% from the year-ago quarter, topping analyst estimates by a notable margin of 43.8%.
Wall Street analysts are moderately optimistic about BKNG’s stock, with an overall "Moderate Buy" rating. Among 36 analysts covering the stock, 22 recommend "Strong Buy," two indicate "Moderate Buy," and 12 suggest "Hold.” While the company is trading above its mean price target of $5,622.51, its Street-high price target of $6,255 suggests a 10% premium to its current price levels.
