Bookies throw more weight behind Leeds United for Championship title as rivals slip

For Leeds United fans absolutely nothing is guaranteed in the Championship - last season's dramatic play-off exit about best sums that up.

Despite a rocky few weeks for Marcelo Bielsa's men, the Whites continue to dominate the bookies odds on the teams tipped to clinch promotion to the Premier League come next May. And it really will do nothing to calm the nerves of supporters as the season pushes on.

Saturday's convincing win over QPR at Elland Road only saw the odds further in favour of Leeds United sitting at the summit of the league after game 46.

Meanwhile, defeat for Sheffield Wednesday against Blackburn sees their odds of the title drop from 22/1 to 33/1 in the space of 90 minutes.

Here's a look at how things stand, with West Brom of course in action tonight with the chance to go two points clear at the top of the league.
