Bookies now believe Meghan Markle will give birth in May after Prince Harry's big 'clue'

Bookies now believe Meghan Markle will give birth to her royal baby next month, thanks to a possible clue from Prince Harry .

The Duke of Sussex joined his sister-in-law Kate at Westminster Abbey for an Anzac Day service , and the dad-to-be looked relaxed and happy.

The event was purposely left off the diary just in case Baby Sussex decided to make an appearance.

This possibly means Meghan isn't showing any signs of going into labour, as Harry will be away for at least three hours.

Bookies seem convinced this is a sign that the royal baby won't arrive until next month, and the odds show that.

William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: "We were as surprised as everyone else that Harry decided to attend a public event as we assumed the baby was imminent.

Important clue that 'proves' Meghan Markle probably won't have royal baby today

"We are now odds on that baby will not arrive until May."

William Hill has it at 4/5 that the baby will be born in May, while Coral now has May at 1-3, followed by April at 2-1 and June as the outsider at 11-4.

Kate, who looked chic in a teal Catherine Walker coat and Rosie Olivia hat, was pictured laughing as she chatted to Harry, dressed in a suit adorned with medals, as they made their way into the Abbey this morning.

A Palace source said: "The Duke's name was not printed in the Westminster Abbey programme in advance of today's Anzac service in case he was unable to attend due to the impending birth of his first child with the Duchess of Sussex.

Key detail missing from Prince Louis's birthday photos - and it's a real shame

"Prince Harry is delighted he is able to attend the service to commemorate Australia and New Zealand's war heroes on Anzac Day.

"Both he and his wife have incredibly fond memories of the two countries having visited most recently last October during their maiden major royal together.

"If anything was to happen in terms of a labour, he would be able to leave at a moment's notice but you may infer from his attendance that perhaps the due date is not necessarily today."

Meghan Markle's decision to keep royal baby private is 'slap in the face', claims commentator

While Harry left Meghan at home to join the Royal Family for church on Easter Sunday, that service was held at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

It's just a stones throw from Meghan and Harry's new home, so he wasn't too far away if the call did come in.

But Westminster Abbey is about an hour's drive and today's service will last for at least an hour.

If Harry had to leave the service everyone would assume it was because baby is on the way.
