Bono's daughter Eve Hewson reveals Brad Pitt is a huge fan of hers as pair bond over Formula 1

Bono's daughter Eve Hewson counts Hollywood heart throb Brad Pitt as a huge fan of hers.

The daughter of the U2 rockstar shares the same manager as Pitt, who is filming a new movie about Formula 1.

Eve revealed she has become obsessed with Formula One after watching Netflix’s Drive To Survive.

She said: “There’s this show on Netflix called Drive to Survive. During the pandemic I didn’t really do anything like everyone else, but I watched this show and now… It follows all the Formula 1 drivers.. I never cared about sports before by the way and now I’m completely hooked. They’re all gorgeous,” she told Jimmy Fallon on Fallon Tonight.

“And actually, Brad Pitt is making a Formula 1 movie and I have the same manager as Brad Pitt. Flex.”

When she discovered Pitt was making the race car movie, she asked to speak to him and was surprised when he told the actress that he was already a huge fan of hers.

“So, I was at dinner with my manager, and I was obviously talking about it and she was like ‘Oh, he’s making a movie about it’.

“And I was like, ‘Get Brad Pitt on the phone right now’. And she called him, and I said I will do anything in this movie, I will have one line, I will be in the pit crew., I will do whatever you want but I’ve got to be in this film.

“And he said, ‘I’m such a fan. I’ve watched Behind Her Eyes twice. You’re in it kid.”

The 31-year-old Dubliner said that while she has “no clue” what part she will be playing, she said she feels like the pair had a “verbal agreement over the phone”.

“And if you said it on national television, it’s legally binded.”

She also revealed how she moved back to Dublin to live with her famous parents on Vico Road in Killiney, south Dublin during the pandemic.

“I was living in London. Then I moved back with my parents up until a week ago and now I live here… for a month and then I go wherever.

“I don’t really have a home and right now I don’t have a job either,” she said dryly.

Eve was promoting Sharon Horgan's dark comedy, Bad Sisters, which also stars Sarah Greene.

In it she can be seen terrifyingly jumping off a clip in Ireland.

Eve said she did the stunt herself and didn’t use a stuntman - even though she could’ve.

“I know. That’s what the stunt people told me but I was preparing to jump into the water and my friend who does it everyday, it’s kind of an Irish thing that we jump into Irish Sea. It’s to get over your hangover basically.

“When we got to shoot the scene, they ask me to jump off the steps but I was like ‘no, no, no, I’ve been the sh*t out of myself every weekend to be able to do this’ so I asked them if I could jump off the cliff.”

Bad Sisters is streaming on Apple TV+ now.
