Bonhill tot Darcy has a ball in snowy weather caused by Storm Darcy

Storm Darcy has brought a pile of snow into West Dunbartonshire and namesake Darcy Gorman-McAlister has been having a ball.

It’s the first significant snowfall the tot has experienced and she is loving it according to mum Kara Gorman.

(Lennox Herald)

Kara told the Lennox Herald about the fun the 15-month-old has been having today (Tuesday) following the downfall which has been part of the Met Office named storm.

She said: “Storm Darcy had created the snow and it so happened to be our Darcy’s first time in the snow.

“She had lots of fun. It was lovely to know the storm had been called the same name as our Darcy and with the correct spelling.”

(Lennox Herald)

A weather warning remains in place for the region until late into Wednesday with frequent snow showers expected to cause travel disruption in places.
