Bongo's Bingo is providing FREE Saturday night entertainment amid social distancing measures... here's how you can join in from your living room

Bongo's Bingo has announced it will be taking its popular club event straight to people's living rooms in response to the government's social distancing measures.

Bosses at the much-loved bingo night firm confirmed on social media it would provide free Saturday night entertainment via a livestream.

In a statement on Facebook, they said: "Due to overwhelming demand from our successful trial show last night and for those of you who missed out....

"Jonny and the boys will be BACK TOMORROW, providing you you FREE Saturday night entertainment, straight from Twitch!

"Kick-off is at 8pm!"

The Live from the Bungalow event can be accessed via twitch.tv/livefromthebungalow from 8pm.

Those who want to join will need a UK registered mobile and pen and paper.

Bosses added: "Also, a little shoutout the 3k+ of you who tuned in last night, we had SO much fun and we’re ready to do it ALL OVER AGAIN!

"LETS. STREAM. BINGO!"

It comes after Bongo's Bingo announced on March 17 that it would it postpone upcoming events in light of the latest briefing from the government about coronavirus.

Bosses confirmed on social media they made the decision because it was 'the right thing to do to prevent the spread of this disease and protect our customers'.
