We're approaching that time of year again where the skies are going to be lit up with sparklers and fireworks.
There are many pubs, clubs and community centres around Stockport that will be hosting their own Bonfire Night celebrations.
Bonfire Night is celebrated every year in commemoration of the failed gunpowder plot which sought to blow up the House of Lords and King James I.

The plot was famously initiated by Guy Fawkes, which is why some people refer to the holiday as Guy Fawkes Night.
You'll be happy to know that many bonfire celebrations are going ahead this year as we start recovering from the pandemic.
Here's a breakdown of the bonfire and fireworks displays happening across Stockport in 2021.
Woodford Community Centre
The Bonfire Night celebration will be lasting for a whole three hours, alongside fireworks show and huge bonfire.
There will also be a separate children's firework display with fairground rides and hot food.
Tickets are only available online - £10 for adults and £5 for under 16s - family tickets are £30

Poynton Park
The 48th annual Poynton Charity Bonfire & Fireworks will take place at Poynton Park.
There will be two firework displays, one for juniors, as well as a fairground.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children.

Stockport Rugby Union Football Club
The Bramhall firework display includes a live music festival.
There's also a bar available at the clubhouse.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £6 for children.
