Bonfire Night is right around the corner and many people are itching to see a fireworks display in person.
Due to the pandemic, most Bonfire Night displays have been postponed for the past year or two.
Thankfully, most areas in Greater Manchester are going ahead with their displays this year.

There'll be several huge bonfires built in local parks, as well as massive firework displays to admire.
Bonfire Night is celebrated in commemoration of the failed gun powder plot against the House of Lord and King James I in 1605.
Following that evening, many celebrated the failed plot and it quickly became an annual tradition that is still celebrated to this day.
If you're looking to celebrate Bonfire Night in Rochdale this year, you're in luck as there's plenty of displays taking place.

Bowlee Community Park
There'll be a huge free bonfire and fireworks display at Bowlee Community Park again this year.
The event includes a family funfair.

Queen's Park Road
With another funfair and a fireworks display, the Bonfire Night event at Queen's Park Road is back this year too.
Parking at the site can be extremely limited, so families are urged to use public transport where possible.

Cronkeyshaw Common
The third free Bonfire Night event to come from Rochdale Council is at Cronkeyshaw Common.
This one doesn't have a funfair but will still have all the thrills of a firework display.
