It is almost that time of year again and for one night (or maybe a few) the night sky will be sparkling.
That can only mean Bonfire Night and the day of November 5 in particular which marks the night when Guy Fawkes plotted to blow up Parliament in 1605.
The big day falls on a Tuesday this year and there will be plenty going on around the date with many displays taking place across Greater Manchester.

All the events above are free. The bonfires will be lit at 7pm and the fireworks will begin at 7.30pm.
