Scots are expected to be treated to ‘fine viewing conditions’ for Bonfire Night tomorrow.
Thousands of Scots are set to hit the streets of Scotland on November 5 as a number of large-scale bonfires go ahead for the first time in two years.
And it appears the weather is on our side, with the vast majority of the country expected to avoid any downpours from dampening their evening.
The Met Office is expecting some showers to hit north west Scotland from around 6pm, before getting heavier as the evening progresses.
For those of us hoping to enjoy some bonfires on Saturday, then there’s some bad news on the weather front, with heavy rain on the cards for much of the country throughout the day.

The Met Office has also issued a yellow weather warning for wind over much of northern Scotland - with forecasters anticipating gusts as high as 80mph.
Scots have also been urged to wrap up on Saturday as temperatures could potentially plummet to -3C in parts of the country.
The warning on the website states: “Strengthening west to northwesterly winds will bring gusts of 60-70 mph, perhaps locally 80 mph, to exposed locations of northern Scotland.
"These winds initially across the Western Isles and northwest mainland Scotland on Saturday evening, spreading to the northeast mainland and Orkney overnight and Sunday morning.

"In combination with high spring tides this is expected to lead to large waves around the coasts. Winds gradually easing through Sunday afternoon.
Here is forecast for every Scots city on November 5 (Bonfire Night), according to the Met Office:
- Glasgow - Cloudy with a low of 10C.
- Edinburgh - partly cloudy with a high of 9C
- Perth - cloudy with a low of 9C
- Dundee - cloudy with a low of 9C
- Inverness - cloudy with a low of 9C
