It's one of the most dazzling, thrilling nights of the year, with the skies above Greater Manchester lit up with thousands of fireworks.
Bonfire Night 2021 celebrations are beginning to be announced across all 10 local boroughs, offering everything from funfairs to live music.

There'll be several huge bonfires built in local parks, as well as massive firework displays to admire.
However some of the region's biggest - like the display at Heaton Park - are not taking place this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Here are the events that have been confirmed so far in Greater Manchester.

Oldham
Oldham Edge Bonfire
Back with a bang this year, Oldham Council's free bonfire will be taking place at Oldham Edge Playing Fields.
It's the largest event of its kind in the borough and the night will include a fairground, food stalls, fire show and fireworks.

Rochdale

Bowlee Community Park
There'll be a huge free bonfire and fireworks display at Bowlee Community Park again this year.
The event includes a family funfair.

Queen's Park Road
With another funfair and a fireworks display, the Bonfire Night event at Queen's Park Road is back this year too.
Parking at the site can be extremely limited, so families are urged to use public transport where possible.

Cronkeyshaw Common
The third free Bonfire Night event to come from Rochdale Council is at Cronkeyshaw Common.
This one doesn't have a funfair but will still have all the thrills of a firework display.

Manchester

Manchester City Council has cancelled events in Manchester this year.
Eight free council-organised events won't take place this November, due to the current Government advice around large-scale events.
Manchester City Council said that the guidance around Covid-19 safety has made the events 'unworkable' and that the 'health of Manchester people has to come first'.
The displays and bonfires at Heaton Park, Platt Fields Park, Wythenshawe Park, Crumpsall Park, the Eithad Campus, Cringle Park, Debdale Park and Brookdale Park are all cancelled.
Bury
Bury Council hasn't confirmed any events yet.
The annual Bonfire Night celebration at Ramsbottom Cricket Club on November 5 is now sold out.
Wigan
Haigh Woodland Park
This Wigan display goes all-out on the entertainment front, with entertainment and live music as well as fireworks.
Entertainment will include Creatures from the Blackpool Lagoon, an LED puppet show, and a light-spinning show, plus live performances from Irish folk band Banjaxed and Joe Astley.
Tickets are £11.37 for adults and £9.21 for children.

Leigh Cricket Club
The Bonfire Night celebrations at Leigh Cricket Club will keep going (at least, in the indoor bar) until 1am.
But the more family-friendly portion of the evening includes a funfair, a street food village, a DJ, children's entertainment, and an outdoor aftershow party with Pat Drury.
Tickets are £7.50 for adults and £5 for children plus booking feels, though kids under two go free.

Standish Cricket Club
The Standish Community Firework Display is making a return next month, with hot food, kid's rides and, of course, fireworks.
This is another event that encourages you to leave your cars at home as parking is limited.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for kids.

Tameside

Denton West Cricket Club
The fireworks at Denton West Cricket Club go on for a whole 20 minutes, alongside a huge bonfire.
There's also a funfair, stalls, hot food and bars outside and in.

Stockport

Woodford Community Centre
The Bonfire Night celebration will be lasting for a whole three hours, alongside fireworks show and huge bonfire.
There will also be a separate children's firework display with fairground rides and hot food.
Tickets are only available online - £10 for adults and £5 for under 16s - family tickets are £30

Poynton Park
The 48th annual Poynton Charity Bonfire & Fireworks will take place at Poynton Park.
There will be two firework displays, one for juniors, as well as a fairground.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children.

Stockport Rugby Union Football Club
The Bramhall firework display includes a live music festival.
There's also a bar available at the clubhouse.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £6 for children.

Trafford

Urmston Sports Club
Urmston's annual bonfire night will be going on late until 11pm.
It includes a firework display, food and drink as well as being family friendly.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for under 16s.

Bowdon Cricket, Hockey & Squash Club
The 52nd annual Bowdon Bonfire will include music and a fireworks display.
There will also be a huge bonfire as well as food, drink and amusements.
Tickets are £15 for adults and £8 for children.

Salford
Events have been cancelled in Salford.
