Bonfire Night fireworks 2019: London's best displays from Alexandra Palace to Victoria Park

It's that time of year again, when London's skies will be lit up by a marvellous array of fireworks displays.

To mark Guy Fawkes Night, bonfires will be lit and rockets sent high into the night sky in a number of spots all over the capital. The majority of them will actually take place on the weekend before November 5, although there are some on the night itself, as well as a handful the weekend after.

Most events are ticketed and are always popular, so it's a good idea to book in advance. A couple of the displays are free to watch, so be sure to get down early to secure your place.

The displays are listed below in alphabetical order.

ArcelorMittal Orbit

It feels a tad odd to start a list such as this with what's not technically a display, but this one does offer a view that's hard to beat. Head down to the Olympic Park and 80m up the ArcelorMittal for a truly stunning look at the fireworks happening across London, including at Alexandra Palace, Battersea and Blackheath. There's not actually a display on the site, but with views for 20 miles, you'll have your pick of what to watch. Each ticket includes a free drink, and there's a paying bar, too.
