Police locked down a street in Ayrshire following a discovery of bones.
Officers remain on the scene after they were called to the Roundel in Largs around 6.10pm last night.
Cops had raced to the scene on Thursday night after a member of the public raised the alarm.
However police confirmed that the bones were not human.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 6.10pm on Thursday, officers were called to The Roundel, Largs, following a report of bones found.
"They have been examined and are not human bones."
