A MAN in his 60s has become NSW's latest COVID-19 case, prompting authorities to warn about potential exposure at several Sydney venues.
NSW Health said the man had recently travelled overseas but also worked as a driver transporting international flight crew.
A saliva test on Tuesday led to confirmation of the positive result on Wednesday.
The man will be included in tomorrow's statewide COVID-19 tally.
Anyone who attended the Bondi Junction screening of film The Hitman's Bodyguard at Event Cinemas at 1.45pm on Sunday must contact health authorities immediately on 1800 943 553, get tested and isolate for 14 days from Sunday.
That is regardless of whether they test positive or negative.
People are also urged to get tested and self-isolate if they attended Vaucluse's Belle Cafe between 9.15 and 9.50am on Friday or 10.20 and 10.45am on Saturday; Bondi Junction's Sourdough Bakery between 12.40pm and 1pm on Friday or David Jones at Bondi Junction between 11am and 11.40am on Saturday.
There are several other venues in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
Investigators said the list would be updated as their inquiries continue.
