Bond baddie Rami Malek will be killed off in 'grisliest death' in 007 history

Rami Malek could hardly hide his delight when he revealed he will play the next James Bond villain.

But I can reveal he won’t be smiling on set as his character will meet the most grisly end in 007 history.

The Bohemian Rhapsody Oscar winner, 37, left, will be playing “a mysterious villain with new and dangerous technology”.

But a source tells me his character could end up being strangled by Bond, played by Daniel Craig.

They explain: “It is going to be one of the most thrilling and gruesome ends ever seen.”

The source continues: “One ending being floated involves Bond being poisoned.”

Meanwhile, Craig, 51, backs calls for a woman 007. He says the next person to play Bond will be the right person regardless of sex, orientation or ethnicity.

Bond boss says 007 will NEVER be played by a woman

He adds: “Also for women and for African Americans, there should be great parts anyway, across the board. It shouldn’t have to be Bond that takes up (that mantle). It just needs to be written... some good parts.”

However, he will not be tempted to don the tuxedo after Bond 25.

He says: “This is my last Bond. I think I’ve done enough, people are going to get sick of the sight of me. Someone else should have a go.”

But, as they say, Never Say Never....
