Bond 25: Lashana Lynch reveals character name for new 007 film

The cast of the next 007 outing has shaped up nicely.

The upcoming Bond 25 recently revealed its full cast in a live event in filming location Jamaica, with star Daniel Craig present for his fifth and final outing as James Bond.

Alongside returning cast members of Craig, Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, and SPECTRE leading lady Lea Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, we had some new faces confirmed.

Among the new additions was Captain Marvel star Lashana Lynch, who appeared at the event and James Bond 25: Jamaica is Bond's "spiritual home", "amazing" for Jamaican stars.

Now Lynch has taken to Instagram to reveal her mysterious character's name.

"Introducing Nomi," wrote Lynch in her Instagram caption, alongside her

Nice to put a name to the character!

We also now know the character name of co-star David Dencick, which Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reports as being the important role of Waldo.

Still unknown are the names of the new Bond villain played by Rami Malek and the character of fellow leading lady Ana de Armas.

Bond 25 will see James Bond asked to come out of retirement in Jamaica to help old friend Felix Leiter rescue a scientist who has been placed in danger by mysterious villains.

We can't wait to learn more.

Bond 25 is released in UK cinemas on April 8, 2020.
