Bond 25: Daniel Craig return to set teased as "new week...new beginning"

It's time for 007 to get back into action.

As Bond 25 filming was disrupted by an on-set ankle injury for star Daniel Craig and explosions were confirmed to have taken place at Pinewood Studios, it seems production is ready to get back on track as the star returns to filming this week.

From the official James Bond social media accounts, it seems it will be back to business as usual.

The 007 Twitter account tweeted: "A new week. A new beginning."

The caption was accompanied by a video of Daniel Craig's first gun-barrel sequence from Casino Royale as he fires at the camera.

The post comes after a previous post showed Craig hitting the gym whilst sporting a cast on his leg and confirmed that he will be back filming this week.

Craig will reprise his role as James Bond one final time following his four other outings, with SPECTRE leading lady Lea Seydoux due to return as Dr Madeleine Swann.

Also back are Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, and Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter.

New additions to the cast include Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek as the Bond villain, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, and Billy Magnussen.

Little is known about the plot, beyond that Bond is called out of retirement in Jamaica when Felix Leiter requests his help as a scientist has been kidnapped by a villain equipped with some dangerous new technology.

What lies in store for 007 in this new adventure?

Bond 25 is released in UK cinemas on April 8, 2020.
