The cast for the upcoming Bond 25 film was announced at one of 007’s most iconic locations today.
Daniel Craig joined director Cary Joji Fukunaga and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson for a live press conference at Bond author Ian Fleming's house in Jamaica.
Fukunaga confirmed Ben Whishaw will return as Q, Ralph Fiennes as M and Lea Seydoux and Naomie Harris as Dr Madeleine Swann and Eve Moneypenny respectively.
Rami Malek also confirmed he will play Bond's nemesis.
Broccoli revealed the new as-of-yet untitled film will kick off with Bond out of service and on holiday in Jamaica.
It was believed Shatterhand would be the title of the 25th instalment in the franchise after trade magazine Production Weekly featured a listing for “Bond 25 w/t Shatterhand” in its February 21 newsletter.
But producer Broccoli later dismissed the name, which was an alias used by supervillain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who featured in Ian Fleming’s 1964 novel You Only Live Twice.
Bond 25 is slated for cinema release on April 25, 2020
