
Authorities are investigating a bomb threat that prompted an evacuation Thursday at a building in the Loop.
The threat was first reported at 2:46 p.m. at a building in the first block of East Jackson Boulevard, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.
The evacuation was ordered at 3:21 p.m., police said.
Authorities are investigating the validity of the threat.
