NEW YORK_CNN evacuated its offices in Columbus Circle after a bomb threat on Thursday night.
Someone in a phone call said five bombs were spread around Time Warner Center, said police sources.
"Right now CNN is airing taped programming due to the disruption," said tweeted CNN media reporter Brian Stelter.
Stelter said he learned of the evacuation while he visited the Whole Foods Store in the basement of Time Warner Center.
Police said they are investigating. Stelter said the evacuation forced cops to close off West 58th Street.
