A man was arrested while planting an explosive device outside the Beirut offices of Future TV, the station owned by the family of Rafik Hariri, the former Lebanese prime minister who was assassinated. Security forces said they recovered a defused mortar shell wrapped in a plastic bag. The Paris-based press freedom body, Reporters Without Borders, issued a statement condemning "this new attempt to intimidate the Lebanese media." Three journalists were targeted in unsolved bombings last year. (Via The Daily Star > Local News)
