He has been back at Wanderers for a while now and has been training on an Alter G treadmill of late.
Amaechi has now taken to Instagram to post a picture of him with his football boots on in the changing room with the caption: "We back."
And speaking prior to the loss against Sheffield Wednesday, manager Ian Evatt gave a promising update on the winger's condition as he nears a return.

He said: "Xav Amaechi is back running on the grass, so shouldn't be too far away now, maybe another three or four weeks."
If that is the case, then Amaechi could be back in time for the trip to Portsmouth at the end of the month or by the FA Cup first round tie in early November, the draw for which is yet to be made.
Clubs in League One and League Two enter the competition at the first round stage and join the 32 non-league sides which have progressed through the qualifying rounds.
