Bolton Wanderers team vs Ipswich Town confirmed as Aaron Morley and James Trafford calls made

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has made four changes to his side to take in Ipswich Town today.

Wanderers are at home for the second time in the space of five days as they return to the University of Bolton Stadium following Tuesday evening's loss to Wycombe Wanderers.

Evatt's side are seeking their first victory of 2022 and end a five match losing run which stretches back to the beginning of December.

Wanderers have been busy in the transfer market in the past week, bringing in midfielder Aaron Morley on a permanent basis from Rochdale and goalkeeper James Trafford on loan from Manchester City.

And Evatt has made four changes from the side which suffered defeat to the Chairboys in midweek as they take on the Tractor Boys this afternoon.

Trafford has been handed his Bolton debut in place of Joel Dixon in a change in the goalkeeping department.

Gethin Jones also returns to the starting line-up after returning from injury off the bench in midweek, with Declan John as left-back and Ricardo Almeida Santos partnered in the heart of defence by George Johnston.

In central midfield, Morley comes in to make his debut too and will start alongside MJ Williams and Kieran Lee.

Bolton's front three today is poised to line up as Marlon Fossey on the right, with Dion Charles leading the line through the middle and Amadou Bakayoko on the left flank.

On the bench today for Bolton are Joel Dixon, Nathan Delfouneso, Will Aimson, Dapo Afolayan, George Thomason, Alex Baptiste and Liam Gordon.
