Bolton Wanderers team news vs Shrewsbury Town confirmed as Ian Evatt makes nine changes

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has made nine changes for this evening's EFL Trophy clash against Shrewsbury Town.

The Trotters are in action this evening against the League One side and Wanderers head coach Evatt has made several changes from the side which beat Harrogate Town at the weekend.

Injured Gethin Jones is not involved, while out of the starting XI goes Harry Brockbank, Ricardo Almeida Santos, Andrew Tutte, Antoni Sarcevic, Jamie Mascoll, Ali Crawford, Eoin Doyle and Nathan Delfouneso.

Only Billy Crellin and Ryan Delaney keep their places in a much changed Wanderers side.

George Taft captains the side alongside Delaney and Adam Senior in the back three.

The four across midfield will be Jak Hickman, Tom White, Brandon Comley and Liam Gordon.

Ronan Darcy will line up in the number 10 role, with Finlay Hurford-Lockett and Arthur Gnahoua the strikers this evening.

Kian Le Fondre, 15-years-old and second cousin of former Wanderers player Adam Le Fondre, will become Bolton's youngest ever player if he comes off the bench.

Mascoll is on the bench, while the other substitutes are Matt Alexander, Regan Riley, Reiss Greenidge, Max Conway and Matt Tweedley.
