Bolton Wanderers team news vs Longridge Town for pre-season friendly confirmed

Ian Evatt has handed four Bolton Wanderers debuts this afternoon for the pre-season friendly against Longridge Town.

The Trotters have travelled to the Mike Riding Ground for the first match of their pre-season schedule.

After this match, they have a game on Tuesday against Atherton Collieries, before heading to FC United of Manchester next Saturday.

Bolton then take on Preston North End at the County Ground in Leyland, before heading to Evatt's former side Barrow.

And their final game of their pre-season schedule before the start of the League One season on August 7 against MK Dons will be at the University of Bolton Stadium against Championship side Blackburn Rovers at the end of July.

But today, all focus is on Longridge and several Wanderers players could be in line for a debut today.

And four debuts have been handed out by the Bolton boss for today's pre-season friendly.

Joel Dixon makes his Wanderers debut, with Gethin Jones and Liam Gordon as the full-backs, while there are further debuts in the heart of defence for Will Aimson and George Johnston.

George Thomason plays against his old team, with Josh Sheehan also handed a debut in the heart of midfield.

Lloyd Isgrove and Nathan Delfouneso are poised to line up on the flanks, with captain Antoni Sarcevic in behind Eoin Doyle.
