Bolton Wanderers team news ahead of Oldham Athletic and Marcus Maddison fitness update

Marcus Maddison is back available for selection for Bolton Wanderers' trip to Oldham Athletic tomorrow evening after overcoming a sickness bug.

The Charlton Athletic loanee was not in the matchday squad against Barrow at the weekend after he developed an illness.

Ian Evatt confirmed after the game it was not Covid-19 related, but instead a sickness bug which made him feel poorly overnight.

The midfielder watched Bolton's victory from the stands and Evatt has confirmed that the midfielder is back available for selection against the Latics for the trip to Boundary Park.

Wanderers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game and came through Saturday's clash against the Bluebirds unscathed.

Evatt said: “Marcus has trained really well this morning, as they all have. No fresh concerns. It’s amazing isn’t it when the team is playing well and we’re getting results how empty the treatment room is.

"It’s the same at every football club. We’re extremely happy with where we’re at.

"We’re extremely happy that we’ve got more or less a fully fit squad available, but again, we all want more.

"It’s that same message. We’re not satisfied. We know we can better and we know we’re going to need to be - this is the business end of the season now, so make sure we focus on Oldham, give them the respect that they deserve, but then also implement what we’re trying to do to them."
