Nathan Delfouneso is back available for Bolton Wanderers for this weekend's trip to Cambridge United after his partner gave birth to a boy.
The Trotters striker was absent from the matchday squad for the draw against Barrow.
He was replaced in the team by Arthur Gnahoua and Wanderers head coach Ian Evatt said after the game that Delfouneso was missing due to a family issue.
Ahead of the match against the U's on Saturday, Evatt confirmed the forward is back available after missing the Barrow game due to his partner giving birth to a baby boy.
And Evatt has given a positive update on the fitness of midfielder Tom White, who suffered a new injury in the EFL Trophy loss to Shrewsbury Town earlier this month.
The Blackburn Rovers loanee had been expected to be out for between four and six weeks after suffering knee medial ligament damage.
But Evatt said that White has trained and is back available, while he also expects to be able to call upon winger Lloyd Isgrove and striker Shaun Miller soon too.
He said: "Nathan Delfouneso is back. Congratulations to him and his missus, they’ve had a little boy which is great news, with no complications, which is excellent, so he’s back available.
"Tom White has trained today and is back available.
"Lloyd Isgrove is very close to being back available. Shaun Miller is very close to being back available.
"All of a sudden, we’re getting people back and we look like we’ve got a strong squad. It’s positive news on the injury front."
