Bolton Wanderers recruit new coach upon his departure from Preston North End

Bolton Wanderers have added to their team of staff with the appointment of a new Head of Coaching.

The League One club's new Head of Coaching is Matt Craddock, who leaves Championship side Preston North End to take up the role - as first reported by Training Ground Guru.

Craddock has strong experience behind him, having been with PNE for over five-years.

He moved to Deepdale in July 2016 after working for the Football Association as a County Coach Developer.

Taking to Twitter, Wanderers' new addition wrote: 'After over 5 years, I’ve just finished my last day @pnefc and it was a tough one!

'Thanks to all the staff, players and parents for their support and efforts over this time.

'It really has been a privilege to be a part of the journey!'

Craddock becomes the fourth member of staff to leave North End in the last nine months.

John Prince made the switch to Blackburn Rovers back in April, becoming their new senior youth development phase coach.

Aaron Dagger also departed to become Leeds United under-23s' analyst while Paul Gray became a 6-12s coach for Norwegian outfit Bodo Glimt.
