Marcus Maddison is back available for Bolton Wanderers this evening as the Trotters head to Boundary Park to take on Oldham Athletic.
Wanderers are on the road with a short trip to take on the Latics and are aiming to build upon and extend their seven match unbeaten run.
The sequence of results has included five victories in succession and has taken them to the League Two play-off places for the first time this season.
They sit seventh in the table heading into this evening's encounter, while the Latics are 15th and trail Wanderers by nine points.
In the victory over Barrow over the weekend, Wanderers midfielder Maddison was absent from the matchday squad due to a non-coronavirus related sickness bug.
Maddison had been poised to feature against Ian Evatt's former side, but is back available for this evening's clash.
Evatt said: “If ever there was a game built for Marcus it was Saturday. Someone with a bit of magic that does something unpredictable that can get you a goal and that’s why Marcus was brought to the club because he has got that.
"Unfortunately for us he wasn’t available at the weekend but he is now and if we encounter that again – and I don’t think that will happen at Oldham – we should be better for it.
“Harry is an attacking manager and he’ll want to come out and back his players to cause us problems. If that is the case then we might be able to take advantage of the open spaces."
As Maddison was was due to feature against Barrow, it would not be a surprise to see him come into the starting XI, potentially at the expense of either Lloyd Isgrove or Oladapo Afolayan.
Nathan Delfouneso could also be an option should Evatt choose to rotate his forward line behind Eoin Doyle, who potentially faces competition for a start from Shaun Miller.
In central midfield, Evatt could continue with the pairing of Kieran Lee and MJ Williams, though George Thomason could also be option should the Bolton boss rotate, with the defence and goalkeeper unlikely to change.
Bolton Wanderers predicted starting team vs Oldham Athletic : Gilks; Jones, Santos, Baptiste, John; Williams, Lee; Maddison, Sarcevic, Afolayan; Doyle.
