Bolton Wanderers pre-season schedule confirmed with fixtures against Blackburn, PNE and Barrow

Bolton Wanderers have confirmed their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2021/22 season which includes fixtures against Preston North End, Barrow and Blackburn Rovers.

Ian Evatt's outfit are back in League One following their promotion in the previous campaign and preparations are already underway for the new campaign.

Their pre-season will start with a trip to neighbours Longridge Town on Saturday 10 July before completing a series of friendlies against Atherton Colleries, FC United of Manchester, Preston and Barrow. Bolton's schedules concludes when they host Sky Bet Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers at the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday 31 July – a week before the league campaign is set to get underway.

Wanderers were scheduled to take on Blackburn last season until a Carabao Cup fixture change seen that friendly cancelled.

The club note that these fixtures are subject to change and that ticketing details for all friendlies are to be announced in due course.

Confirmed fixtures:

Saturday 10 July (KO 3pm) – Longridge Town vs. Bolton Wanderers

Tuesday 13 July (KO 7.30pm) – Atherton Collieries vs. Bolton Wanderers

Saturday 17 July (KO 3pm) – FC United of Manchester vs. Bolton Wanderers

Tuesday 20 July (KO 7pm) – Preston North End vs. Bolton Wanderers (Played at the County Ground, Leyland).

Saturday 24 July (KO 3pm) – Barrow vs. Bolton Wanderers

Saturday 31 July (KO 3pm) – Bolton Wanderers vs. Blackburn Rovers
