Bolton Wanderers player ratings vs Wycombe - Kieran Lee, Dapo Afolayan and Joel Dixon good

Joel Dixon- 7

Made good save to stop Anis Mehmeti's penalty and was dependable inbetween the sticks throughout the encounter at Adams Park. Not much he could have done about Sam Vokes' goal.

Alex Baptiste - 6

Played at right-back and rarely put a foot wrong defensively in the first half. Generally the same after the break but beaten by Vokes for crucial opening goal which proved to be key.

Ricardo Almeida Santos - 7

Solid as ever one-on-one defensively from the Bolton skipper who was a match for who he came up against

Will Aimson - 6

Slotted in alongside Santos at the back. Looked alright defensively but distribution from the back off at times.

Declan John - 6

Got forward well to support attacks and linked up well with Afolayan, but exposed down his flank for Wycombe's first goal.

Kieran Lee - 7

Some incisive passing at times from former Sheffield Wednesday man to get the visitors into some promising attacking positions.

MJ Williams - 7

Returned to anchor midfield and made a big difference in engine room as added combative edge that was missing vs Stockport. Left pitch with arm in makeshift sling just after half-time.

George Thomason - 7

Youngster saw late first half chance go wide and was energetic throughout encounter.

Lloyd Isgrove - 7

Restored to more familiar position on the right flank and showed plenty of energy throughout.

Elias Kachunga - 6

Played through the middle and looked good at times, causing issues for Wycombe at times, but was wasteful with a couple of decent opportunites.

Dapo Afolayan - 7

Looked back to attacking best on left flank and caused the hosts problems throughout. Probably ought to have done better with first half chance which he fired straight at David Stockdale.

Substitutes:

George Johnston - 5

Went into the holding midfield role when he came on for the injured Williams.

Xavier Amaechi - 5

Came on late for Baptiste. The odd sparkle from the Hamburg loanee.
