Little to do in the first 45 minutes in terms of saves. Denied Eisa and McAtee after the break and was a constant vocal presence as ever.

Kept Iron dangerman Eisa fairly quiet in the first half. Another assured performance from the veteran.
Ricardo Almeida Santos - 8
Marshalled back line well from the middle of the back three and continued great form.
Ryan Delaney - 7
Fairly solid from the Irishman once again aside from giving away the odd free-kick, but made some decent interceptions too.
Peter Kioso - 8
Almost had an assist with an early cross which nearly found Jones, but got on the scoresheet with a composed finish.
Andrew Tutte - 8
Energetic in the middle of the park and recycled possession well in a great and dominant central midfield performance.
Antoni Sarcevic - 7
Skipper pressed well from central midfield and forced Howard into good first half save - used ball well throughout.
Ali Crawford - 7
Played more in a midfield trio and put in some dangerous deliveries from set pieces, particularly after half-time.
Gethin Jones - 7
Operated very high up the pitch and caused issues for the Iron rearguard down the left flank.
Nathan Delfouneso - 7
Had shot saved by Howard in first half but created opener on his own by going past two Scunthorpe players and showed composure to to pick out Kioso.
Eoin Doyle - 6
Could have had a penalty early on and had a few efforts at goal. Worked hard upfront throughout. A quiet evening overall.

Played on the left flank and delivered an inviting cross for Kioso.

Operated on the right mostly when he came on and added some energy, was denied by McGahey following a darting run into the box.
