Caught in no man's land for opening goal but otherwise dependable inbetween the sticks with several stops made throughout

Worked well down the right flank going forwards at times but lacked end product in first half, though got better after the break
Ricardo Almeida Santos - 6
Looked shaky at times in the first half but improved after the break, snuffing out danger and coping with Oxford's attack better.
George Johnston - 6
Good in one on one situations. Went to left-back when Baptiste replaced John and showed his usefulness in that position too.
Declan John - 5
Came back into the team for Liam Gordon. Was caught out of position when going forwards at times and also defensively against a threatening Oxford attack. Taken off on 70 minutes.
MJ Williams - 7
Good pressing and reading of the game from holding midfielder who got stuck in thoughout.
Josh Sheehan - 7
Could have put Wanderers ahead early on with low shot and delivered corner which led to Bolton going in front via Doyle after the break.
Antoni Sarcevic - 7
One of the main creative threats for Bolton throughout in a solid afternoon's work for the skipper.
Lloyd Isgrove - 6
Replaced injured Amadou Bakayoko in starting lineup. Showed good work rate off the ball. Taken off for Kachunga before full-time.
Eoin Doyle - 7
Feeding on scraps as few opportunities presented themselves but worked hard throughout and got his goal with superb header. Nearly had second with chip over Jack Stevens.
Dapo Afolayan - 8
A constant threat throughout and got Wanderers back on level terms with piece of class before half-time. Won free kicks throughout the game.

Replaced John and went into central defence. Slotted in alongside Santos.

Went to the right after replacing Isgrove.
