Bolton Wanderers player ratings vs Newcastle United under-21s: Reiss Greenidge, Ronan Darcy and Lloyd Isgrove good

Billy Crellin - 5

In no man's land for the second goal, despite it being a good finish from Elliot Anderson. Arguably should have done better for the first goal.

Reiss Greenidge - 7

Made several great challenges and supported attacks when he could. Booked in first half. Header in the box led to Mascoll's winner.

George Taft - 6

Fairly solid in the middle of the back three - made a great interception towards the end of the game.

Jamie Mascoll - 7

Lined up in central defence rather than the previous wing-back role he has occupied. Switched at half time and looked better there and was clinical with goal.

Jak Hickman - 6

Got Wanderers back into the game with a solid finish before the break. Crossing wasn't the greatest, however.

Brandon Comley - 5

Made some decent early challenges but was robbed of possession too easily for the first goal and showed sloppiness on the ball at times.

Tom White - 5

Lost possession too easily at times and visitors appeared to be on top in the middle of the park - was replaced by Gnahoua midway through the second half.

Liam Gordon - 6

Failed to make much of an impact in the final third in the first half. Swapped with Mascoll after the break to go in the back three

Lloyd Isgrove - 7

Added some energy to the forward areas and put in a decent free-kick which led to the equaliser.

Shaun Miller - 6

Showed some nice flicks and touches at times to bring others into the game - was replaced with around 15 minutes to go, along with Isgrove.

Ronan Darcy - 7

Kept the ball moving and not afraid to have possession in tight areas to try and make things happen.

Substitutes

Arthur Gnahoua - 6

In the right place to stab home and draw Wanderers level. Added some good energy on the ball.

George Thomason - 6

Recalled from Bamber Bridge earlier on today and looked composed on the ball.

Mitch Henry - 6

Academy product made debut and nearly had maiden goal after latching on to Mascoll's pass.
