A great stop to deny Victor Adeboyejo early on. A few shaky moments in the first half but generally dealt with what was thrown at him.
Gethin Jones - 7
Solid stint as ever from the right-back and was particularly threatening going forwards after the break with some dangerous crosses. Booked too.
Ricardo Almeida Santos - 8
First appearance of the season for the influential defender and looked as assured as ever and like he had not been away.
George Johnston - 8
Grew into the game as it went on, and could have scored opener after great piece of skill. Rarely put a foot wrong at the back.
Liam Gordon - 7
Handed start after impressing in pre-season and linked up well with Delfouneso on the left, pressing well.
MJ Williams - 7
Some great vision at times from the midfielder to get Wanderers going in the middle of the park.
Kieran Lee - 7
Positive and energetic in the middle of the park and involved in some promising build-up play. Taken off as full-time approached.
Antoni Sarcevic - 7
A couple of shots on goal in the first half which did not test Jack Walton, but a solid all-round performance from the skipper
Lloyd Isgrove - 7
Some good balls at times and work rate right up there as usual. A great low penalty in the shootout.
Eoin Doyle - 6
Lovely touches from last season's top scorer at times, who had few clear chances on goal before the break and after.
Nathan Delfouneso - 6
First minutes of 2021/22 campaign under the belt and looked positive on the ball at times, but lacked end product. Replaced by Bakayoko not long into second half.

Amadou Bakayoko - 7
Went to the right flank initially and linked up well with Jones, before moving into the middle when Doyle went off. Found back of the net in shootout
Elias Kachunga - 6
Came on to the left wing and had an impact off the bench. Scored penalty in shootout.
Josh Sheehan - 8
Not on for very long but showed real quality in short time on the pitch. Drew great save from Walton before scoring winning penalty.
