Had few saves to make in the game but was beaten three times. Was rooted for the spot for the second.

Alex Baptiste - 5

Ball struck arm in the box for penalty which led to third goal - struggled with pace of Tranmere's forwards at times.

Ricardo Almeida Santos - 6

Largely solid in the middle of the back three - part of a defence which conceded three.

Ryan Delaney - 5

Was beaten by Clarke in the air for the opening goal - second goal appeared to take deflection off him.

Gethin Jones - 6

Fairly solid showing from the wing-back who later moved to the left when Brockbank went off.

George Thomason - 6

Some nice passes from the youngster in the middle of the park - one of the few to emerge with credit.

Antoni Sarcevic - 6

Captain did alright but struggled to properly impose himself on the game.

Harry Brockbank - 5

Made injury return after more than month out but struggled to make much impact and was taken off after the hour.

Lloyd Isgrove - 5

Played wide right and was erratic in the first half but improved slightly after the break - later went to right wing-back when Brockbank went off.

Eoin Doyle - 6

Had a couple of chances before the break where he looked isolated - worked hard upfront to try and get things going.

Nathan Delfouneso - 5

Apart from a curled shot, largely anonymous in the first half on the left flank and failed to improve after the break.
