Bolton Wanderers player ratings in Chorley pre-season friendly as Adam Senior stars

Luke Hutchinson - 8

A nervous early moment for the youngster but looked solid afterwards, including making a great double save just before half-time.

Brandon Comley - 7

Midfielder lined up at right-back and could have scored opener if header had been on target. Got forward well and later went into holding midfield when Thomason went off.

Andrew Tutte - 7

A central defensive place for the central midfielder. Used positioning well at times but also struggled against strong and tall Magpies forward line.

Adam Senior - 8

Academy product captained side and put Bolton ahead with a towering header to give Wanderers the lead. Communicated well throughout.

Liam Gordon - 7

Another good and encouraging performance at left-back, but was booked just before the hour mark.

George Thomason - 7

Sat in front of the back four and made good use of the ball throughout the encounter before being replaced.

Kieran Lee - 6

Good energy in the middle from the former Sheffield Wednesday man. Taken off on the hour for youngster Tweedley.

Ali Crawford - 7

Early chances of the evening fell to the midfielder who looked positive in possession and had a soli evening's work on first start in pre-season.

Ronan Darcy - 8

Looked bright on the ball and one of those who made things happen for Wanderers going forwards.

Jay Fitzmartin - 6

Donned the number nine shirt in absence of Eoin Doyle and was energetic up front

Dennis Politic - 7

Forced Matt Urwin in the Chorley goal into action on a couple of occasions in the first half with powerful efforts.

Matt Tweedley - 6

Went into central midfield in place of Lee. Great energy shown and picked out a great ball to set up Fitzmartin for a chance.

Mitch Henry - 6

Went through the middle upfront after coming on and was energetic.

Wes Frimpong - 5

Went to right-back after coming on.

Kian Le Fondre - 5

The second cousin of former Wanderers striker Adam, played to the right of the front three.

Aaron Pettifer - 5

Headed to the right of midfield after coming on.

Max Conway - 5

Went to left-back in the closing stages but had little time to make much impact.
