Bolton Wanderers player ratings against Harrogate Town - Eoin Doyle and George Thomason good

Matt GIlks - 7

Produced great save initially before first goal and tipped over decent header from Jon Stead.

Gethin Jones - 6

Could do little to stop conceding unfortunate own goal from close range. Better after the break.

Ricardo Almeida Santos - 7

Had battle with Mark Beck and was able to bring possession out more from defence in the second half.

Alex Baptiste - 7

Failed to stop cross which led to opening goal but improved after the break.

Declan John - 6

Caught out of position at the back but a threat going forward at times.

MJ Williams - 6

Passing off key at times in first half but improved as the game wore on.

Kieran Lee - 6

Gave away a few fouls and slipped when chance presented itself early in first half - looked better in second half when pushed further forward.

Lloyd Isgrove - 7

Made little impact in the first half down the right flank but different proposition after the break. Showed great tenacity to score equaliser and was more of a threat.

Marcus Maddison - 4

Handed start in behind Doyle but had little impact. Was fouled a few times and took some heavy challenges. Taken off at half-time.

Oladapo Afolayan - 5

Came back into the team for Nathan Delfouneso but struggled to have much joy and was substituted with 15 minutes left.

Eoin Doyle - 7

Isolated at times and saw a couple of first half chances go begging but made no mistake with second half opportunity when it presented itself and ruthlessly punished Harrogate error.

Substitutes

George Thomason - 7

Good on the ball after coming on at half-time and Wanderers looked a more balanced side with him in the team. Great work rate in the middle of the park as ever.

Nathan Delfouneso - 6

Came on for Afolayan and play on the left and put in a couple of decent crosses.

Zack Elbouzedi - 6

Replaced Isgrove and went to the right flank and added some pace in closing stages.

Shaun Miller - 5

Late change and had little time to make an impact.

Harry Brockbank - 5

Late change and had little time to make an impact.
