Bolton Wanderers have announced a former chief executive of Hibernian FC as their new chief financial officer.
Scott Lindsay has joined the League Two club having held a number of senior positions within Scottish football over the past 20 years.
Mr Lindsay was most recently executive director, financial and operations, at The Law Society of Scotland.
He started his career at EY in Glasgow before moving to NFC UK in Falkirk as its chief accountant.
Mr Lindsay then joined Optima Enclosures first as financial controller and then managing director before becoming finance director at Hibernian FC.
Before rejoining Hibs in 2007 as their chief executive, Mr Lindsay worked at Field and Lawn Marquees as finance director and then managing director.
After leaving Hibs, he joined the Scottish FA as head, and then director, of finance and IT.
Mr Lindsay was also a member of the Euro 2020 local organising committee from June 2017 to March 2019.
Bolton Wanderers have also confirmed the appointment of Chris Markham as the club’s technical performance director.
During his eight seasons at Huddersfield Town, where he was head of analysis, Mr Markham was part of the Terriers’ staff who achieved an EFL record 43-game unbeaten run, as well as winning promotion from League One via the play offs in 2011/12.
