Bolton Wanderers linked with swoop for Liverpool youngster ahead of transfer deadline day

Bolton Wanderers have been linked with a transfer window swoop for Liverpool youngster Owen Beck.

Wanderers have made four acquisitions so far this summer. Eoin Toal and Jack Iredale have joined on permanent deals from Derry City and Cambridge United.

Two players have also been brought in on loan for the campaign. Defender Conor Bradley has joined from Liverpool, while goalkeeper James Trafford has been signed up again from Manchester City.

Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has suggested that the Whites could do more business before the window shuts should the right opportunities present themselves.

The transfer window closes at 11pm on Thursday, September 1. After being linked with a loan swoop for QPR's Macauley Bonne, another fresh transfer link has emerged ahead of it.

According to journalist Alan Nixon on his Patreon page, Wanderers want to bring Anfield youngster Beck to the University of Bolton Stadium. The Whites already have Liverpool's Conor Bradley on loan for the season.

Beck, 20, and a left-back, is currently out on loan at Portuguese side Famalicão. The report says Liverpool are 'ready' to send Beck to Bolton, providing he can be freed from his move to Portugal.
