Bolton Wanderers lineup vs Stevenage confirmed: four changes made as Maddison and Afolayan start

Ian Evatt has made four changes to the Bolton Wanderers team to take on Stevenage today.

Wanderers return to the University of Bolton Stadium for the second time in the space of five days.

And the Trotters can go three games unbeaten today with a result against the Boro.

They can also do the double today with victory over Alex Revell's side, having taken three points when these two sides met at the Lamex Stadium in November.

Wanderers were boosted ahead of today's match with the return to availability of midfielder Kieran Lee, who has finished his time in self-isolation after being a close contact of someone who had coronavirus.

And Marcus Maddison can also be picked today after the red card he picked up against Morecambe in midweek was overturned.

For today's game against Stevenage, Evatt has made four changes from the side which drew against the Shrimps in midweek.

Matt Gilks keeps his place in goal, while Gethin Jones comes in to replace the injured Harry Brockbank at right-back.

The rest of the back four lines up central defenders Ricardo Almeida Santos and Alex Baptiste while Declan John comes in to replace fellow left-back Ben Jackson.

In central midfield, youngster George Thomason who has signed a new 18-month deal with the club, is partnered by MJ Williams.

Eoin Doyle continues upfront, while the trio behind him in the attacking areas are Maddison, Nathan Delfouneso and Oladapo Afolayan, as Lloyd Isgrove and Arthur Gnahoua dropping to the bench.

On the bench today for Bolton are Brandon Comley, Andrew Tutte, Shaun Miller, Isgrove, Gnahoua, Zack Elbouzedi and Jackson.
