Bolton Wanderers lineup vs Newport County confirmed as one change made

Bolton Wanderers have made one change for the visit of Newport County today.

Wanderers are back at home today in League Two against the Exiles and are seeking their first win of the season.

Last weekend, Bolton suffered a 2-0 defeat on the road against Colchester United in their maiden away game of the season.

In that game, Wanderers lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation as head coach Ian Evatt ditched the 3-4-1-2 set up Bolton had begun the season with.

And he has made one change from the defeat against the U's, with George Taft coming in for Alex Baptiste, who drops out of the matchday squad altogether.

Billy Crellin starts in goal, with a defence of Gethin Jones, Taft, Ricardo Almeida Santos and Liam Gordon in front of him.

Tom White and Brandon Comley continue in central midfield with Ali Crawford ahead of the duo.

Jak Hickman is poised to assume the right wing role with Nathan Delfouneso on the left, with Eoin Doyle through the middle.

New signings Arthur Gnahoua and Lloyd Isgrove are named on the bench by Evatt.

Matthew Alexander, Ryan Delaney, Jamie Mascoll, Ronan Darcy and Andrew Tutte are the other substitutes.
