Bolton Wanderers lineup vs Morecambe confirmed: one new signing handed debut

Ian Evatt has made one change to the Bolton Wanderers team to face Morecambe this evening and handed a new signing their debuts.

Wanderers are in action this evening at the University of Bolton Stadium in League Two against the Shrimps.

Evatt's side are yet to play so far in February, owing to away clashes against Mansfield Town and Salford City earlier this month being postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

It means that the four deadline day signings made by Bolton have had a longer wait than usual for their first games for the club.

MJ Williams has been brought in on a permanent basis after he left Blackpool, while the trio of Marcus Maddison, Lukas Jensen and Oladapo Afolayan have joined the Trotters on loan until the end of the season.

And Evatt has handed one of them their debuts this evening against the Shrimps as he made one change from the side which beat Leyton Orient the last time Wanderers took to the field.

Matt Gilks keeps his place in goal with the back four lining up as Harry Brockbank, Ricardo Almeida Santos, Alex Baptiste and Ben Jackson.

In central midfield, Wanderers are without Kieran Lee who is self-isolating due to being a close contact of someone who has coronavirus, and so Williams comes into the side for his Bolton debut in the only change made.

He will play alongside George Thomason.

The three players behind striker Eoin Doyle will be Lloyd Isgrove, Nathan Delfouneso, and Arthur Gnahoua.

On the bench this evening for Bolton are Gethin Jones, Brandon Comly, Andrew Tutte, Declan John, Zack Elbouzedi, as well as new signings Afolayan and Maddison.
